Wanna Play?

We’ve suspended last two Wednesdays [May 21^st and 28^th] of this month’s Be Mo Jazz Performance Series because we’ve literally run out of money and audience participation has not reached the level necessary to sustain it. We feel that over the course of 14 weeks this summer we will build an audience of sufficient size to support the series. 

We need consistent audience participation [150 each week] to cover performance fees and space rental. Our plan is to proceed on Wednesday, June 4th with the Summer 2008 Performance Series schedule provided we receive at least $1,000, weekly,  in a combination of donations and/or ticket sales. Over the course of the summer we plan to build a support group that will address these issues as we move forward.

So, beginning today, we ask that you consider 1] Volunteering to help build a Be Mo Jazz support group; 2] Provide a donation in any amount you can; 3] Donate $10 per week for 14 weeks or $45 per month for 3 months this summer; or 4] Purchase $7 ticket per week or $35 per month for 3 months for admission to our performances. Should we reach our mark by Saturday, May 31, we will proceed forward. Thank you!
